Information about Les from his web site http://www.mitchinsongenealogy.com/

Hello, my name is Les Mitchinson and I am a professionally qualified genealogist based in Petersfield, Hampshire. I am a graduate of the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies (IHGS) gaining my Higher Certificate in Genealogy (HC) in 2008 and the Diploma in Genealogy (DipGen) the following year. After graduating I became a course tutor with the IHGS, guiding students through the IHGS Correspondence Course and towards the IHGS Higher Certificate in Genealogy.

I founded LMentary Family History in 2009 and have a steady flow of commissions with clients as far away as America and Australia. I also have a thriving education element to my business – running family history classes in the Petersfield area that cater for the absolute beginner through to the more experienced. A number of my students have passed the IHGS Level A and Level B assessments, ten have attained the IHGS Certificate in Genealogy, three students have received the IHGS Higher Certificate in Genealogy and earlier this year my first student gained the IHGS Diploma in Genealogy. I also speak on a wide-range of family history subjects.
